Shimizu Sanso

Shimizu Sanso is an easily accessible accommodation located just a three-minute drive from the Miyama-Yanagawa Interchange, at the foot of Mt. Shimizu, where you can enjoy the changing scenery of the four seasons. It can be used as a base for various experiences and sightseeing, as a training camp, a seminar, or a venue for banquets. It is also located on the walking course of Mt. Shimizu, a famous spot for cherry blossoms and autumn leaves, and on the Miyama-Shimizuyama Olle course, one of the Kyushu Olle trails, so you can stop by as a rest and meal facility along the way.

Miyama City is located in the southern part of Fukuoka Prefecture, partly bordering Kumamoto Prefecture. In the eastern part, there are mountain ranges such as Mt. Mimaki and Mt. Shimizu. In the western part, there is a vast lowland created by reclamation from the Ariake Sea, and it is known as a representative agricultural region of Fukuoka Prefecture. In addition to boasting the highest production of celery in western Japan, which is in season from late autumn to early summer, many other agricultural products are cultivated in this fertile land, including eggplant, which won the Emperor's Cup at the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Festival, and mandarin oranges, which are known nationwide.

Facility Information

Shimizu Sanso has seven Japanese-style rooms that can accommodate up to 50 people, as well as a large training room.

As a general rule, the facility requires advance reservations and is self-service. Only the bare minimum of linens are provided, so please bring your own.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the building.

Ashtrays are available outside, so please feel free to use them.

There are seven guest rooms, all of which are Japanese-style rooms.

Guests are generally required to use the facility themselves, so we ask for your cooperation in preparing bedding and tidying up.

Also, please note that we have a limited number of rooms, so we may not be able to accommodate your request depending on the number of people.

This room can also be used for banquets and meetings.

We can provide rooms up to 25 tatami mats in size.

The toilet and bathroom are shared.

Bath hours: 18:00-23:00

Only rinse-in shampoo, body soap, and hair dryers are provided. Please bring your own towels, face wash, toothbrushes, razors, etc.

There is one multi-purpose toilet on the first floor only.
